A selection of well treasured moments from painting my favourite window in the Library Windows project.

The core shape of the tree and branches are linear painting with a subtle shading that provided the initial structure for further elaborate enamelling and decorations.

I was really happy with the final result and also a little stunned at this stage after seeing the scale of the entire tree, which was already gaining a new brand new dimension.

Painting on the acid etched Gold Pink Flash glass was a joy. And why is there ‘Gold’ on the name of this particular glass? It is because one of the key compositions of this mouth blown glass ( @lambertsglass ) is actually gold oxide!
